Welcome to Western Districts Junior Rugby Club, the heart of junior rugby in the Belconnen region since 1971. 
In 1971 Western District Junior Rugby Club was established through Lyneham Rugby Club. 

At Wests Junior Lions, we welcome players of all skill levels. Whether you're a young player looking to play with friends or for the love of the game, or perhaps you're goal is to play with our Wests Seniors 1st Grade which can lead to becoming a future Brumby or Wallaby, we would love to have you join the 'Pride'.  

We have a big emphasis on building a positive club culture where player welfare and safety are most important to us, and our families enjoy being around the club. If you have a positive experience at Wests then the aim is for you to keep playing and enjoy the game of rugby union well into the future by creating lifelong friendships and building up our community. 

Over the years Wests Juniors have built a strong community and family based reputation on the back of dedicated coaches, managers and volunteers and has grown into one of the strongest clubs in the ACT junior rugby competition.
