Get Into Rugby Programs

GiR Walla

• Recommended for ages 4–5
• Fun, small-sided games and activities introducing the basic movements and skills of rugby

GiR Tri Time

• Recommended for ages 6–7
• Builds core skills and introduces contact-readiness activities
• Includes modified Tri Tag Rugby to prepare for junior rugby

XVs Rugby is one of the most inclusive and accessible sports in Australia, played in clubs and schools nationwide.

• Who can play?
  Everyone! Starting from age 5, to age 18.
• Training & Games
  Teams train once or twice a week, with games on weekends or after school.
• Season Start
  Usually begins around March (School Term 2).

From Club → State → National Teams, your journey could lead to representing Australia as a Wallaby or Wallaroo.

What is ‘Training Only’?

• Covers insurance only
• Participants can train, but cannot play in matches (including trials or representative games)
• If you upgrade to a full-season player registration, the insurance cost will be deducted from your fees

Family Discounts

• $20 off your second registration
• $40 off each additional registration
  Discounts apply automatically when you register multiple players.
